Fulfillment (The Embrace)-30.12.2012

Good Afternoon,

I have some interesting Arts to share with you.  These are my oil paintings.  The original artist of these paintings was Gustav Klimt.  He was born in Baumgarten, near Vienna in Austria-Hungary in 14 July 1862 and died on 6 February 1918.  He was a famous painter and illustrator.  He was the founder of the school of painting known as the Vienna Sezession, embodies the high-keyed erotic, psychological and aesthetic preoccupations of turn-of -the-century Vienna's dazzling intellectual world.

Gustav Klimt painted a number of works in a similar gilded style. His artwork namely The Kiss, oil and gold leaf on canvas;  Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I, oil, silver and gold on canvas; The Tree of Life;  Lady with Fan; Fulfillment (The Embrace); The Sunflower etc.

I had painted 2 pieces of Fulfillment (The Embrace).  One piece was painted on a board and the other on a canvas.

Paper Mache Elephant-10.12.2012.

A Very Good Evening to Everyone!
In school we used to make paper plate out of newspapers. I still remember we made our own starch and soaked pieces of newpaper into the water and moulded them on a plate, layers by layers using the starch to form a plate. This method is call Paper Mache Craft.
Paper Mache is one of the most inexpensive craft and it is a bit messy but if you have ideas and creativities you can make a lot of things out of it. For example you can make bear, butterfly, mushroom, jaw, flower etc. I have made an Elephant using Paper Mache technique.

My Baby Elephant is popping out from a window to say "Hi" to you. "HI"! Hope you like it.

Bye for now.

Black T-Shirt with yellow roses-29.09.2012

Good evening, good everning!

It's has been a while since I last posted my paintings and creations.  I have not done any paintings or artworks for some times due to unforseen circumstances..  Now, I am going to catch up with what I have missed. I am going to keep myself busy doing more paintings and varities of handmade crafts. Sure, I am going to share all of them with you guys.

Here is a Black T-Shirt with yellow roses. Painting T-Shirts on black background isn't easy.  You need to use white colour for the base before painting anything on it.  If not, the colours will be very dull.

Tiger-4.6.2012

Good Evening!

I am glad to be back again. I have been extremely busy with my personal matter. Busy non-stop for exactly two months. No time at all to try something new and to post my previous project. Now that things had settled down a bit, I am glad I am able to spend a little time to update my blog.
About 4 months ago, I had tried painting a Tiger. It was my 1st attempt. The Tiger was painted on a piece of cloth.
Whether it is a young or an old Tiger, a tame or a fierce Tiger, I would think it is good looking one and I like it very much.
Hope I am able to share more things with you.
Thank you and Goodnight!

Cutlery Box - 25.03.2012

Hi,

I had two new items. I had just painted two cutlery boxes, one with roses and the other with sunflowers.

Both are also very beautiful. These items are something you can make use of. Instead of using it for your cutlery, you may also use it as your pencil holder.

These items are only RM30 each.

Hand-painted Artstones - 12.03.2012

Hi,

Hand-painted Artstone can be very interesting.  You can transform a very plain stone into something very attractive and nice.  You may give it away as a gift or souvenir.   You can paint pets, flowers, fishes, cars, cartoons, fruits, houses, gardens, designs, wordings or whatever you can think of, you can just apply them on the stones.  You will be surprised to find how beautiful your stones can turn out to be.

I have painted a few stones and would like to show them to you.

Mom's Luggage-3.2.2012

Good evening!

My mom loves those paintings on Anna's Luggage. As soon as I had completed painting Anna's Luggage, my mom immediately took out a luggage and asked me to paint for her.   I was very tired then but I was happy to paint for her since she loves it so much.

Here is her striking and attractive luggage.

My mom is very happy to have such a beautiful and unique luggage.

Painted Luggage-1.2.2012

Good evening everyone!

My friend, Anna is going for a company trip this weekend.  All the travel participants were given a luggage by their Travel Agent.  Everyone of her colleagues has the same black luggage.  In order to differentiate her luggage from the other participants, she asked me to paint something on her luggage.

Isn't it a good idea?  Anyone who wish to have her luggage painted, may do so.

I have painted some yellow roses on her luggage for her.  Yellow colour on black background is very striking and the colour contrast is very clear.  In fact, I have painted 5 corners for her.  Anna can now easily distinguish her luggage among the others.

Here I wish her trip is as nice as her luggage. Wishing her have a pleasant and enjoyable trip.

Stool-25.1.2012

Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!

I have tried out something new for the Chinese New Year.  I did not bake any cakes or cookies but I had painted a Stool.  I had just completed painting it on Chinese New Year Eve.

Actually I have started painting the Stool one or two months ago but I was too lazy to touch up and have it done as soon as possible.  If not because of Chinese New Year, I guess the Stool will be left unfinished.

Well here it is. Take a look at the process.

Most Chinese believe that they must complete all their outstanding tasks and settled all their debts before the Chinese New Year.

I managed to complete painting my Stool just in time for Chinese New Year and I am so proud to show it to all my guests......hahaha.....

This year is a year of Water Dragon.  Heard this saying?

"Dragon come, rabbit go!
Fortune come, bad luck go!
Happy come, worries go!

Money come and never go!
My Stool come and never go!
My creation come and never go!"

Wishing you and your family a happy and prosperous new year!

Do keep in touch!

Wooden Key Holder Box-7.1.2012

Good evening!

My friend, Doris gave me another challenging project.  She asked me to paint a key holder box with a "TIGER" on it for her sister, Stella.  I told her I don't know how to paint a "TIGER" and I haven't come across with painting animals. She said, "since you can paint flowers beautifully, I am sure you can paint a tiger.  Just surf the net for a tiger and copy it only." Then, she also asked me to paint her a stone with a pig on it.  She wanted to give it to her brother-in-law as a paper-weight, a special gift for her brother-in-law.   Wah!, easy to say then done.  Anyway, I told her I will try my best to get her what she wants, a "TIGER" and a "PIG".  A "TIGER" and a "PIG". Well, what an interesting and challenging project?

When I reached home, I couldn't stop thinking about how to paint those two animals and how to go about it.  Suddenly, I thought of a cartoon tiger.  It's much easier to paint a  cartoon tiger.  So I called Doris just to confirm whether she wants a cartoon tiger like those in Disneyland. But, so happened I was told that she was having her afternoon nap.  So, I decided not to wait for her and just make my own decision because I wanted to get thing done as soon as possible.  In the end, I decided not to paint cartoon tiger because I am afraid it's a bit childish for her sister.  This is what I have done finally.

Doris, here is a "TIGER" and a "PIG" as promised.

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks my dear friend, Doris for making my painting so interesting and challenging and also all the supports given to me.  I hope she will request more from me.  It will helps me to expand my creativity.

Goodnight!
